Your documents are securely encrypted on your device and also backed up using decentralized storage (IPFS). You will need to import your wallet to your new device. Please see the instructions on how to import your wallet.
With Wallox your digital identity documents and credentials are safe.
Even if someone has a copy of your original encrypted document, first they must decrypt it (they must have your key).
If they decrypt it , they can’t modify it because modification it will invaidate the Blockchain anchor (which can never be changed).
If verification of a copy is attempted, it must pass validation requirements.
Additionally, it’s possible to request revocation of the credential from the issuer and issue a new credential.
This procedure depends completely on the issuer which can have it’s own requirements for issuing a new document.
To guarantee certificate security and consistency concurrent functionality is not enabled.
For this reason, it is not possible to use the application on more than one device.
It’s important to verify that the issuing institution is registered in the list of Connections.
If the connection hasn’t been registered yet, check your email, where you should have an invitation with a QR code (in the email account you gave to the institution). Before receiving documents you must accept this invitation.
